The Advocacy Companion

Five weeks of personalised guidance to help you advocate with clarity, confidence, and a plan.

5 weeks $1350

Service Description

This package is for parents who are ready to make a change for their child, but don’t know where to start or don’t feel confident doing it alone. Over five weeks, I’ll walk alongside you; helping you plan and communicate with clarity and confidence. You’ll remain at the centre of the process, while I provide the tools, language, and strategy to make each step feel lighter. We’ll also gently explore what’s happening at home. I’ll help you make small, meaningful shifts in your routines and environment so your child feels more understood and supported across both settings. When it’s time to contact the school, I’ll support you with email templates, key talking points, and clear next steps, but you’ll be the one reaching out, following up, and leading the communication. My role is to coach and guide, not to correspond directly with the school. This approach builds your confidence, deepens your advocacy skills, and ensures you are at the helm of your child’s support. By the end, you’ll feel steadier, more prepared, and better equipped to keep going, even if new challenges arise. What’s included: 60-minute initial consultation Written support for key communications (email drafts, suggested language, and framing) Practical strategies and tools to support your child at home Personalised documents to be sent to your child’s teacher, such as, practical classroom ideas to better support your child day to day, personalised approaches and accomodations that align with how your child learns best, suggestions for letting your child show their understanding in a way that suits them, simple ways to make schoolwork more accessible. Bi-weekly 20 minute phone call check-ins Best for: Parents who are ready to engage with the school, but want ongoing guidance, reassurance, and language that lands. Ideal for families navigating emotional, social, or learning challenges, including those with a formal diagnosis who aren’t yet getting the support their child needs. Please note: This package includes behind-the-scenes coaching and support but does not include initiating communication with the school, attending school meetings, or writing formal reports.

 NB:

You have the option to let your child’s teacher know that you’ve engaged a professional to support their learning journey.
If you do decide to, it can be a quiet but powerful way of saying: I’m invested and I’m paying attention. If you have any questions at all, please reach out. katrina@mrssiegel.com.au

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live and work, the Gundungurra people, and pay my deepest respects to Elders past and present.

I recognise that First Nations people have been learning on this Country, teaching children through story, song, movement, and connection for tens of thousands of years.

This work of listening to children, making space for their strengths, and honouring their ways of knowing walks in the long shadow of that wisdom. I hold deep gratitude for it.
